‘Musicology’, Canadian-made Collaborative Video Conferencing App for Music Teachers, Launching Browser Version

The Musicology app was launched in April for iPad, which is designed for music teachers who have struggled with conventional video conference platforms. With the new browser version set to launch in July 2021 ahead of back-to-school, more teachers will have access to the app’s dedicated, interactive tools specifically designed to make online music lessons more intuitive, engaging, and enjoyable on both sides of the screen.

The developers of Canadian-developed app say they’ve made great strides in solving the numerous audio/video problems teachers have faced with traditional conferencing apps. The full-duplex, peer-to-peer audio is designed to significantly reduces lag and audio drops.
